Pocket Number-24: Pushkar, Broad Street

WP_20170812_20_08_24_ProPushkar is an award winning restaurant serving contemporary Punjabi and North Indian cuisine. The art deco interior is made opulent with whites, creams and golds. Near the front of the venue is a small lounge area with a well stocked bar

I met Ivan by the door and explained to him about what I was doing. While he decided where to WP_20170812_20_11_17_Prosend me next I had supper and tried the ‘Achari Gosht’ curry involving lamb, pickling spices, chilli, ginger, tomatoes and mustard seeds.

I asked Ivan what curry he likes and he told me that he enjoys the milder curries like Korma.

Ivan recognised Tony in the photo I showed him. He told me that Tony visits Pushkar regularly and likes ordering grazing platters, often to take away, as he’s pressed for time.

He then gave the montage a business card which offers a 20% Pushkar discount along with a golden Pushkar ballpoint pen and sent me to meet Hoq, hisTaken with Lumia Selfie brother from another mother, at Umami in Harbone

We also took a selfie together.
