I phoned Sarah on the number Dom had provided me and she agreed to meet with me at 10:00am, Saturday morning.

WP_20150919_10_24_26_ProWhen I arrived, the bakery was bustling with customers and most of the bread had already sold.

I explained to Sarah about [25] Pockets of [Birmingham] and she remembered Dom from when he had worked with her at Loaf.

Sarah recently married and so she gave the montage a stalk of WP_20150919_12_34_29_Prowheat from her wedding bouquet and then sent me to see her husband, Alasdair, at Yorks Espresso Bar. She recommended I try the nitro-cold-bru espresso.

Sarah told me that it was sour-dough September and so she gave me a brown paper bag with a sour-dough loaf to take home and enjoy.

Eating it later on my journey home was a delight!

The following weekend I called Alasdair  on the phone number Sarah had given me. Alasdair was happy to participate in the project but explained that he’d just finished working his last shift at Yorks Espresso Bar so we arranged instead to meet up at the newly revamped Grand Central train station.
