Pocket Number 3: Castle Square

In the early 1990s the green and grassy Castle Gardens met with lots of concrete and transformed into Castle Square.

At Castle Square, there’s a seagull-beloved water feature and a semi-circle of concrete steps used as tiered seating to watch whatever’s being broadcast from a giant screen TV.

Also, the steps afford a commanding view of a McDonalds Restaurant.

I approached the only person at the square at the time.

Mr Clemont was fishing litter out of the water at the fountains.

After I explained to him about what I was doing he provided the assemblage with a blue, swan-emblazoned municipal bin bag and then sent me to approach a bus station ranger at Swansea City Centre Bus Station by the Quadrant Shopping Centre.
