The Albion Beatnik Bookstore is a well stocked, independent bookstore with an admirably large poetry section. It regularly holds jazz events, movie nights and literary readings.
Dennis is the bookstore’s owner.
I explained to him about what I was doing and he gave the montage a paint encrusted paintbrush that he had used to paint tables and walls with. He then told me to visit a favoured cafe on St. Giles Street and approach the waitress there who was always friendly. He couldn’t recall the name of the cafe but said it could easily be identified by its iconic little outside table, the shape of which he sketched out on a scrap of paper.
