Piccadilly Records is an independent record shop that’s retailed music in Manchester for over 38 years.
Inside the shop are aisles full of cds and vinyl, all helpfully labelled and sorted into the various music genres, with an especially strong rock / pop / indie selection.
I met Martin behind the till and passed him Mani’s cold brew and message (“don’t worry everything will be fine“) Martin’s been a shop assistant with Piccadilly Records for 31 years and is very knowledgeable about vinyl releases and editions.
I told Martin about what I was doing and he gave the assemblage a Piccadilly Records Tote bag and sent me to go to Whitworth Art Gallery and enquire about the William Blake exhibition.
