Elma is a restaurant specialising in Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine.
I lunched on Elma’s mixed seafood mezze platter. It had crispy -coated king prawns, calamari and anchovies, smoked salmon, beetroot dip, baba ganoush and tabbouleh made with couscous.
I then had kadayif for dessert. It came together with pistachio-flavoured candyfloss and pistachio ice-cream.
I explained about the project to Amir and he gave the assemblage his business card and then sent me to see Ben at Landsdowne Hotel.
