Pocket Number-12: Kitty Flynn’s, St Mary Street, Cardiff

DSCF1051Kitty Flynn’s is a traditional Irish pub located on the corner of St. Mary’s Street. While my Guinness pint waited for its second pull, I explained about my journey to the bartender. He then took the bit of frame, my camera and my coloured assortment of sharpie markers upstairs to meet Anne.

After a few minutes he re-emerged with Anne’s picture and a Bullmastiff Brewery “Son of a Bitch” beer mat for the canvas. Anne had sent me to see Vicky in the Great Western “for a big smile.” The bartender returned my sharpie markers and topped up my Guinness with a second pull.
