The Jolly Anglers is a friendly local situated at the water’s edge of Kennet canal. It has a selection of real ale and also cider. The Monday evening I arrived was open mic night, hosted by Tony Brown who is part of the local band, The Newtowners.
John is the proprietor at The Jolly Anglers.
He gave the montage a Wild Weather ale pump label for Warm Front light ale (“Blonde With Ginger Hint“) and sent me to see anyone at The Retreat pub.
